SumStamper originated because a child had been using stamps with paper, but was very interested in anything on the computer. I combined these interests to create this program.
The program shows a selection of numbers (e.g. 1-10) at the bottom of the screen, and a sum in large print in the middle. Otherwise, the background is plain. When the child clicks on an answer, a "stamp" appears over the cursor. When the child clicks on the grey "pad", the answer is "stamped" onto it. A well done message is displayed and, if correct, the program moves on to the next sum. The sums are randomly generated and can be addition, subtraction or multiplication within a set of ten numbers (sets from 0 to 100).
